We started with a camel pack thinking it would be the easiest way to carry water and it probably is. However, it isn’t the most practical way to have someone fill it. We decided on two one liter bottles. They are easy to clean and to fill. Without water they weigh 6.6 oz apiece and take up a lot of space inside our pack while traveling to spain.
Stacy Medley, one of Brenda’s clients, suggested we try the platypus soft water bottles. After researching, we found that these bottles weigh only .8 oz and take up very little space in our pack. Thank you REI for carrying everything a hiker could ever need.
